Alan Booth - The Leader's Leader

Alan comes to Executive Coaching - Management Consulting with 20+ years of experience in operations management where his hallmark was developing highly motivated direct reports and their teams. He currently teaches managers how to coach at the NYU School of Leadership.

His style of creating dialogue helps clients discover and become accountable for critical changes they must make to become more effective in dealing with others.  Through his facilitation, his clients take ownership of their behaviors and take action for growing their talent.

Assignments range from exit strategies for presidents and assimilation of new leaders to development of high potential managers, and executives who expect more from their staff.  Frequently, his client teams meet at offsite venues where participants discover how to better execute busines and organization strategies.

Booth is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and has done advanced study of management, organizational development and technical programs such as thin film deposition physics.

He resides in Westport, CT, has two daughters and is a certified foody along with his wife.

Booth’s  experience includes General Management assignments in high tech manufacturing, Director Optical Engineering (Pfizer/Warner Lambert), Operations Director for Wyeth/Whitehall & Ayerst Laboratories, and VP of Sales & Marketing for subsidiaries of Nestle, SA; Lantis Corporation and various start-ups.

He currently is on the faculty at NYU’s School of Leadership
